Today, like last week, the NFL's slate of games begins in London, where the "road" Washington Redskins will take on the Cincinnati Bengals at 9:30 a.m. EST. The Philadelphia Eagles will face the Bengals Week 13, and they'll get a second crack at the Redskins Week 14.
We'll have two separate open threads today -- one for the Eagles-Cowboys main event, and one for the rest. (We'll have one for Sleeves on Monday Night Football as well). Here is this week's slate of games.

The two obvious games of interest other than the main event are of course Redskins-Bengals for NFC East purposes and Vikings-Bears for first round draft pick purposes. Another game worth keeping an eye on is Cardinals-Panthers, two underachieving teams that played in the NFC Championship Game last year. If the Panthers lose, they'll be 1-6, and all but dead. If the Cardinals lose, they'll be 3-4-1. This game is important from a wildcard perspective.
In case you missed them, here are my Week 8 NFL picks.
For quick reference, the NFC East standings:
NFC East | W | L | Point differential |
Cowboys | 5 | 1 | +52 |
Eagles | 4 | 2 | +68 |
Redskins | 4 | 3 | -3 |
Giants | 4 | 3 | -8 |
Feel free to discuss the early action around the rest of the league below.
