The "Next Stop: Democracy!" project announced today that Hawk Krall, Sophie Roach, Old Broads and Kid Hazo have joined its growing lineup of participating artists.
"Next Stop: Democracy!" is a voter engagement effort that sees art as a means of intervention. Wooden signs -- which the project's still seeking additional funding for -- are designed by 60 hired artists tasked with making signs that entice voters into precincts. The artists are paid with funds that parent company, creative agency Here's My Chance, was awarded in March by the Knight Foundation.

The four newly announced illustrators, muralists and street artists join the previously announced lineup of Nosego, Isaiah Zagar, Gaia and Ishknits.
The finished project will surface on street corners near voting precincts across the city during Election Day on Nov. 3. For more information, or if you're interested in donating, see the "Next Stop: Democracy!" Kickstarter page.
