Not only is Jan. 1 the day after a massive late-night, Champagne-fueled holiday, but it's also a Sunday this year. Everyone will most likely wake up in need of brunch.
Philly has many beloved brunch spots, and you probably already have a neighborhood favorite, but a new year means a new you, right? Pick a brunch based on your 2017 New Year's resolution.
Jet-setting off to a foreign country first thing on New Year's Day may not be possible, but attending a Parisian brunch is an option.
The Philadelphia Museum of Art will transport attendees to Paris, France, with food inspired by the City of Light. You'll leave full, but hungry for travel.
Brunch is $45 per person, $40 for museum members and $17 for children. To make a reservation on Jan. 1, call (215) 684-7990 or use OpenTable.

All three locations (University City, Wayne and Haverford) encourage guests on New Year's Day to show up in slippers, robes and sleepwear.
The restaurants offer a bottomless brunch drinks option for $18 per person, so drink as many mimosas, bloody marys, screwdrivers or sangria glasses as you wish.
