There's a new show coming to Comedy Central in July, and it's all about three guys in Delaware County.
The show, entitled "Delco Proper," is set to premiere and be available for streaming on the cable network's website Monday, July 13. Here's the series description, from Comedy Central:
Three best friends from a rough blue-collar neighborhood in Philadelphia struggle to avoid trouble and make a name for themselves in a city where the odds are stacked against them.
A recently released teaser trailer features the three main characters showing off those Delco accents before a friend's funeral (Disclaimer: All videos in this article contain strong and possibly offensive language):
The series comes from Philadelphia-based comedians Tommy Pope, Tim Butterly, and John McKeever of the comedy group Deer Prom.
You might recognize these guys from their work with the comedy group Bird Text that has put together several parodies of Philadelphia stereotypes. One of their more notable videos is their reality television spoof the "Real Househusbands of Philadelphia."
