A school bus aide in New Jersey was fired for threatening a 10-year-old student in video footage that captures her using profanities.
The incident occurred Monday afternoon when children were returning home from Linden Public School No. 2.
The video shows the now-identified 58-year-old aide threatening a male student, saying "You're gonna be sorry. You must act like that to your parents. I bet they beat your a** every day. I know your father does. ... I know for a fact your father does."
"When you don't listen I bet he kicks your a**," the aide continues.
The video then shows the aide bending over in the child's face.
"Call me a bitch again, say it again. Call me a bitch again, say it again. I dare you. I'll put your f***ing head through the window if you say it again."
A version of the video initially posted to YouTube has since been removed. Here's a clip of the video, as obtained by NJ.com.
NJ.com reported that according to police, there was also a brief physical altercation.
The Associated Press reported the aide was not a district employee, but an employee of the bus company that the district contracts. She was immediately fired, according to school district officials.
An investigation is ongoing.
