Traffic is being diverted to the Lansdale exit on I-476 going southbound as crews work to fix a sinkhole, 6 ABC reports.
All southbound lanes will remain closed on the Northeast extension until 5 a.m. Wednesday morning when the stoppage is cleared. The roadwork is taking place between Lansdale and the Mid-County exits.
Drivers are being detoured to Route 309, according to NBC Philadelphia. The route closed earlier today due to the repairs, reopening briefly before being closed again.
