The Eagles had previously agreed to terms with Frank Gore during the "legal tampering" phase of free agency, but Gore left the Eagles standing at the alter when he decided Philly wasn't for him.
Murray led the NFL in 2014 with 1845 rushing yards. The next closest player was the Steelers' Le'Veon Bell, 1361. Murray had an enormous workload last season. Including the playoffs, he had 436 carries and caught 61 passes, for a total of 497 touches.
