Two members of the South Philly String-Band, one of the clubs that performed in Tuesday's Mummers Parade, were killed in a car crash that claimed three lives early Wednesday morning, according to a statement from the group.
Authorities said the incident occurred around 1:45 a.m. in the 600 block of Packer Avenue in South Philadelphia.
Keith Campbell, the driver of a white 2014 Audi, slammed into a 2015 Acura carrying four passengers, according to police. Campbell, 29, of Delaware had been suffering from 15-20 stab wounds to his chest and abdomen at the time of the crash, investigators said Wednesday afternoon.

Three of the four people in the Acura were killed, police said.
The driver, 36-year-old Joseph Ferry, was pronounced dead at the scene. He and 31-year-old Dennis Palandro, who also died, were both members of the South Philly String-Band, which has been a part of the Mummers Parade since 1946.
Kelly Wiseley, 35, of Glenolden, Delaware County, also was killed in the crash. Palandro's wife, 30, survived and was transported to Jefferson University Hospital. She's listed in critical condition.
Police said the accident investigation remains ongoing and charges are pending.
