A photo provided by local YouTube star Jesse Wellens of his mother, who he says has been missing since Monday.
The mother of Philadelphia YouTube sensation Jesse Wellens, who he said had been missing since Dec. 14, has been found dead, Philadelphia Magazine confirms.
Stella Wellens, a resident of Montgomery County, had reportedly struggled with depression, and loved ones were concerned for her safety, her son said in posts on social media that asked for the public's help finding his mother.
On Tuesday, Upper Moreland Township police confirmed they had found her body in a vehicle parked in a business lot in the township.
There is no word at this time on where exactly the car was parked, whether the vehicle belonged to Wellens or her cause of death.
Jesse Wellens' girlfriend and fellow YouTube star Jeana Smith, who had been helping with the search, confirmed news of the discovery on her Twitter account.
