A Montgomery County man faces more than 100 charges related to child pornography, authorities announced Friday.
Prosecutors say 38-year-old Robert J. Giuffrida of Huntingdon Valley possessed and distributed numerous videos and images, which were recovered after an online investigation that spanned from May to December of 2015.
Detectives were able to download six movie files of child pornography that traced back to Giuffrida's IP address.
Authorities obtained a search warrant on Giuffrida's home and recovered several files from his computer and iPhone.
Giuffrida has been charged with 100 felony counts of possession of child pornography as well as related counts of dissemination of child pornography and criminal use of a communication facility.
He has been jailed on $100,000 cash bail and a preliminary hearing is set for Feb. 2.
