According to the Philadelphia medical examiner, daycare providers at Wyndmoor Montessori School in Montgomery County were not responsible for the death of a 4-month-old girl in January.
The cause of death was ruled as sudden infant death syndrome, or SIDS,
CBS Philly reported.
Montgomery County officials will not file charges since the death was listed as "natural."
At the time of the incident,
6ABC reported that investigators reviewed surveillance video during an inspection of the facility that allegedly showed a staffer putting a sheet over the child's face. It's not clear what happened next, but paramedics were called and the staffer was allegedly seen trying to hide the sheet.
An investigation was launched by the Department of Human Services after the death. DHS found 20 safety and health violations, shortly thereafter, the daycare was shut down.
