The Penn State student who went missing Friday has been found and is fine, according to the State College Police Department.
Jon Steindorf, 23, of State College, was reported missing by his parents a few hours after they went to pick him up for the university's commencement activities, according to the Centre Daily Times.
They discovered Sunday, however, that their son was not set to graduate this weekend. His father, Paul Steindorf, told the Centre Daily Times that his son had not enrolled last fall, although he had told his parents he had finished his studies.
“We thought he’d graduate, and that was our understanding that he completed fall classes and he delayed graduation until now, but the most recent information we received was he was not on the list to graduate,” Steindorf's father told the Centre Daily Times. “Apparently he wasn’t enrolled this fall.”
