Forbes announced in January that its Under 30 Summit, which debuted in Philadelphia last year, will return to the City of Brotherly Love in October. The 2nd Annual Under 30 Summit will bring together the world's young thought leaders for a four-day conference, and the magazine has announced its first round of speakers.
Mike Tyson, Barbara Bush of Global Health Corps, YouTube star and entrepreneur Michelle Phan, Datto founder Austin McChord and Dannijo founder Danielle Snyder will all speak at this year's conference at the Pennsylvania Convention Center.
Running Sunday, Oct. 4, through Wednesday, Oct. 7, the Under 30 Summit expects to bring more than 2,000 young "game changers" together. More speakers will be announced on a weekly basis through September.
All four days of the conference will be packed with panels, TED-style talks, mentorship programming and networking events. The Under 30 Food Festival, featuring up-and-coming chefs, and the Under 30 Music Festival, featuring plenty of musical acts, will return.
New this year, Forbes is teaming up with five Philadelphia organizations to hold simultaneous off-site Under 30 Summit events for those unable to attend the full conference. An application process will be available for interested groups in the coming weeks.
The last day of the Summit has also been dubbed Service Day, during which 130 Under 30 list members will head to Philly high schools and middle schools to chat with student assemblies.
Attendance to the conference is by invitation only, and applications are now open.
