During his prolific playing career with the New York Giants, Michael Strahan had some legendary battles against Jon Runyan (and also Jon Runyan’s club) and the Eagles. In his retirement, Strahan has famously branched outside of football and is now a contributor on Good Morning America.
Making an appearance Wednesday on The Tonight Show, Strahan was talking with Jimmy Fallon about his playing career when the subject of football stadiums came up. And Strahan, seeing The Roots on stage to his left, volunteered his experience of playing in Philadelphia.
Strahan spent a bunch of Sunday afternoons chasing Donovan McNabb, and the man with the famous gap-toothed grin remembers Philly fondly in retirement. In his words, “People say and do stuff [in Philly] you don’t get around the country.”
Specifically, Strahan mentioned he was mooned on the way to the stadium. Check out the video (0:25 mark):
