A memorial service will take place on Monday afternoon to honor Abington teen Grace Packer, who was killed in an alleged rape-murder fantasy, reportedly at the hands of her adoptive mother and the woman’s boyfriend.
Packer’s dismembered body was found on Oct. 31 in a wooded area near the Francis Walter Dam in Bear Creek Township.

Over the past few weeks, a horrid picture appears to show a child who endured years of sexual and emotional abuse at the hands of multiple caregivers.
Monday's memorial service at New Life Church in Glenside is being organized and funded by local community members through donations raised via a GoFundMe page.
As of Thursday, the crowdfunding site had more than doubled its goal. Andrea Green-Adams, the GoFundMe site and event organizer, wrote in the fund description that all remaining money will be donated in Packer's name to people transitioning out of foster care, those in domestic abuse situations and children with mental disabilities.
A park bench and butterfly garden are also reportedly being planned in honor of the girl.
