Philadelphia rapper Meek Mill might be on the brink of turning a badly needed corner in his ongoing feud with Drake, who most observers agree has pretty much owned the diss track competition.
Nicki Minaj, Meek's girlfriend and Drake's Young Money Entertainment labelmate, hinted in nearly unmistakable terms Saturday night that she is pregnant and Meek will be the father of her child, EOnline reports.
During a concert at the First Niagara Pavillion in Burgettstown, Pennsylvania, Minaj, 32, told the crowd,"Make some noise for my baby father!" Meek, 28, was on stage with Minaj and immediately went wide-eyed, raising his hands with a huge smile on his face.
The comments come on the heels of recent denials of pregnancy by both Meek Mill and Minaj. In July, when asked about pregnancy rumors, Meek Mill told Sirius XM's Shade 45 channel, "Nicki ain't pregnant, but yeah, I wish."
For her part, Minaj told Complex magazine last fall that she would "definitely be married before I have my baby."
The couple's status has been in question for some time, with everything from engagement rumors to breakup rumors making the headlines. It's little surprise that fans met the comment with some skepticism and caustic humor.
