Here's a tip if you want to find a multimillion-dollar luxury home: just search for the time term "wine cellar." Each residence below boasts an elegant cellar that holds hundreds or thousands of bottles of the finest vintages. Plus they're ridiculously fancy. Oenophiles can see how the bottles stack up below.
1. A dramatic candle-lit cellar in Chestnut Hill, $1,500,000

The name of the estate is "Villa Val Vert," which sounds like the setting of a musical. That's appropriate because this candle-lit wine cellar looks like somewhere the Phantom of the Opera would lead you. All you need is a cape and perhaps a candelabra to wield as you flourish down the spiral staircase.

2. A touch above the everyday in Conshohocken, $2,495,000

The listing for this home says that a temperature-controlled wine cellar will "make everyday life complete." Because, really, what is everyday life without a perfectly chilled Cabernet? Other features include two waterfalls, a pool, a koi pond and a two-story marble reception hall. Not to mention the mirrored gym with theater surround sound.

3. Elegant eating in Bryn Mawr, $2,400,000

While not actually in the cellar, the dining room of this five-bedroom Bryn Mawr home does have a glass case that can hold 576 bottles. Add to that the beautiful cherry wood paneling, and you have a truly beautiful and sophisticated dining experience.

4. A whole town in one house in Coopersburg, $4,900,000

The sweeping brick arches make it look as though you could live in this massive wine cellar. This one house could honestly pass for the entire entertainment district of a small town: there's a tasting room, theater, pub, pool room, a dry sauna and an exercise room. Set up an organic market and hipsters will start trying to move into your basement.

5. 2,000 bottles of wine on the wall in Cranbury, New Jersey, $2,500,000

Having seen the houses above, you're probably less than impressed by a home with a 2,000-bottle wine cellar, an indoor theater area, a tennis court and a Roman-style pool. Let's be real, though, about why this house beats all the others for wine aficionados: it's in New Jersey, which means you won't be subject to Pennsylvania's alcohol laws. Because nobody who loves wine wants to end up like this guy.
