Business Insider, a business news website that launched in 2007, looked at Google searches in each state since the start of 2017 to come up with its map showing the most researched cereal in that area.
Pennsylvanians couldn't get enough of Kellogg's Special K, while residents in New Jersey searched "ancient grains cereal" the most. Ancient grains are groups of grains that are thought to have hardly changed by selective breeding. The most popular types of ancient grains are spelt, kamut, barley, oats and more.
Many brands sell a type of ancient grains cereal or granola, including Cascadian Farm Organic.
People in Delaware opted for Ketologie, a low-carb cereal option.
Fifteen other states also searched Pennsylvania's pick the most, while states like New Hampshire and Rhode Island preferred Kellogg's Rice Krispies and West Virginia searched General Mills' Count Chocula the most.
