A man is wanted by the Philadelphia Police Department for running a Craigslist scheme concerning a rental property in Cedarbrook.

According to police, 44-year-old Harry Moore has listed the property at 8082 N. Fayette Street for rent on four separate occasions on the classified advertisements website.

In each incident, Moore allegedly received a security deposit from the complainant and prior to moving in, the complainant got a phone call from Moore explaining that the property was no longer available.

When the complainants have requested their deposits back, Moore has set up meetings to return the money but has not appeared, according to police.

Moore has allegedly taken $10,500 in deposits to date. Police say the first incident occurred in March, with two incidents occurring in May before the last complaint on August 5.

There are active arrest warrants for the first three incidents and a warrant has been issued for the most recent case.

Moore stands 6'7" and weighs between 180-200 lbs. Anyone with information on Moore's whereabouts is asked to call Detective Denise Szustowicz of the Northwest Detective Division at 215-686-3352 or call 911.
