A man was hospitalized early Wednesday morning after he was struck by an Amtrak train in Northeast Philadelphia, NBC10 reports.
The incident occurred around 3 a.m. near Keystone and Benner Streets in Tacony.
Investigators said a man in his 40s was clipped by a northbound Amtrak train while walking along the elevated tracks.
The man, who suffered a broken arm and several other injuries, was taken to Hahnemann University Hospital in critical condition.
It was not immediately clear what he was doing near the tracks.
The incident is under investigation.
