A man was killed in Southwest Philadelphia early Friday morning after he was shot multiple times, NBC10 reports.
The incident occurred in the backyard of a home along the 7800 block of Midas Place.
Police say the victim, believed to be in his early 20s, was shot five times in the face and twice in the legs at point-blank range. According to witnesses, the two gunmen attempted to pick up the victim before fleeing.
One suspect is in custody after he was spotted with a gun nearby, according to police. Officers are searching for the second gunman, who is described as a heavyset man.
The incident remains under investigation.
