Authorities are investigating after a man was killed by gunfire in the area outside of a Camden public housing complex Friday night.
According to prosecutors, Camden police recieved a shot spotter notification around 10:35 p.m. near Camden Housing's Branch Village location.
Reponding officer initially found several shell casings but no victims.
Eventually, 29-year-old Quandale Barns was discovered suffering from two gunshot wounds on the 1700 block of S. 9th St.
He was taken to Cooper Hospital where he died from his injuries at about 11:47 p.m.
