A man was injured during a violent home invasion in Tioga-Nicetown on Thursday morning, 6ABC reports.
The incident occurred around 5:45 a.m. on the 1600 block of W. Butler St.
Police say the victim, a male in his 30s, was pistol-whipped and sustained head injuries. He was transported to the hospital in stable condition.
It was not immediately known what was taken from the home.
The incident remains under investigation.
