Police Superintendant Michael Chitwood tweeted Sunday that the suspect has been taken into custody.

The incident occurred around noon on May 10 at the pretzel shop at 54 S. 69th St. A surveillance video released by police shows the suspect slip his phone beneath the victim's dress several times while she stands at the register. Eventually, the victim realizes what's happening, confronts the suspect and smacks him as he flees the store.

"It's a shame when she smacked him, she didn't knock him out," Chitwood told the Daily Times News.

The identity of the suspect and pending charges have yet to be revealed.
