Philadelphians were just gifted yet another reason to ditch the Black Friday shopping craze this year.
Along with a favorable forecast – clear with temperatures hitting the 50s – Lyft is set to offer free rides to parks in a dozen cities across the country, including Philly.
Philly riders can get one free ride up to $10, or just $10 off a ride, to Fairmount Park, Pennypack Park, Penn Treaty Park, Bartram's Mile, Benjamin Rush State Park and Wissahickon Valley Park, the company said.

Those headed to Baltimore or Washington, D.C. for Thanksgiving weekend can also get a free Lyft to certain parks in either city on Friday.
The company teamed up with outdoor recreation retailer REI as part of REI's #OptOutside campaign, which encourages people to skip the crowded department stores in favor of enjoying Black Friday outdoors.
