Authorities have lifted a lockdown at a Philadelphia school after a threat was issued Friday morning.
Police say the staff at First Philadelphia Preparatory Charter School, located at 4300 Tacony St. in Frankford, received a call from an unknown female who said she was en route to shoot up the school.
The school's principal placed the school on lockdown at 9:45 a.m. It was lifted an hour later.
Police will remain at the location until dismissal at noon.
The school teaches children in kindergarten through 12th grade, according to its website.
