The fall edition of Namas Day, the yoga weekend held by Philly Area Yoga, returns Saturday, Oct. 3, and Sunday, Oct. 4. The event, which is held twice a year in the spring and fall, will be held at Sykes Student Union at West Chester University.
All weekend yogis of all levels will gather for workshops in yoga and meditation. Saturday, classes in yin yoga, hip openers, Kabbalah meditation and inversions and arm balances will be available. Saturday's events end with a community celebration with a live DJ. Sunday's schedule is full of more specialized classes for yoga teachers and athletes.
Water stations will be available in each classroom and food trucks and vendors will be available during the event-wide lunch break. Weekend passes ($263), one-day passes ($133), half-day passes ($75) and one-workshop classes ($45) are all available.
Each class has a limited enrollment and some will fill up faster than others, so registrants are encouraged to choose their workshops as soon as possible.
