When the season began, would anyone have foreseen the Philadelphia Eagles being nearly touchdown favorites over a Seattle Seahawks team that is 7-4? Well, that's where we are heading into Week 13.
As we noted in our five matchups to watch, the Seahawks have been in the top 10 both in run defense and pass defense every year since 2012. They have also won at least one playoff game every year during that span, and are 8-4 in the playoffs overall. This is highly accomplished, highly experienced team that will be a major challenge for an Eagles team trying to leave no doubt that it is the class of the NFC.
The Eagles have lost some key players for the season, in Jason Peters, Jordan Hicks, and Darren Sproles, but their injury report lists just one player this week. The Seahawks, on the other hand, have been devastated by injuries, as they have lost more than their share of players to injured reserve, and list 10 players on their injury report.
