UPDATE [5:45] — There is no reported deal in place for Eagles (former) linebacker Kamu Grugier-Hill, but it appears his time in Philadelphia has ended.
UPDATE [12:20] — It's no secret that the Eagles have a lot of interest in likely former Cowboys cornerback Byron Jones — who seems to be near the bottom of Jerry Jones' priority list in Dallas as they look to make deals with Dak Prescott and Amari Cooper.
Jones is among the best defensive backs on the market and the Eagles have been rumored to have interest for weeks.
In addition to more speculation on that interest surfacing Monday, the Eagles apparently could add to their cornerback room via the trade instead, as a trade deadline target from last season looks to be on the trade block once again.
The Eagles look as though they could go either route (trade or FA), but seem determined to land a big name corner this week.
UPDATE [12:10] — The Eagles may have some competition to retain onetime draft pick Vinny Curry, who returned to the Eagles on a one-year deal after a stint in Tampa last season.
The D-end made the most of his rotational reps last season, collecting five sacks, the second most in his eight-year career. Curry is a 31-year-old New Jersey native and one would surmise he has a preference for Philadelphia.

Today at noon, NFL teams will be allowed to start "legally tampering," or chatting with players and/or their agents to discuss potential deals which will become legal on Wednesday at 4 p.m., when the new league year begins and free agency officially kicks off.
Eagles fans have already seen some relevant news leak out this morning and last night, as a few potential Eagles targets have signed deals — players either re-signing with their old team or previously cut who are free to sign elsewhere.
Philly will have a completely new-look linebacking corps, but it won't be with Christian Kirksey, who was released by the Browns and then signed by the Packers Monday:
