UPDATE [2:48 p.m.] — The Sixers have reportedly traded former No. 1 overall pick Markelle Fultz to the Orlando Magic. And the return, which includes Jonathan Simmons and some draft picks, seems to be better than most expected.
The Magic are sending Jonathan Simmons, a first-round and a second-round pick to the Sixers, per sources. https://t.co/f724l2eSVS

More to come...
Deadline Day came a day early for Sixers fans when they woke up on Wednesday to find out that the team had acquired Tobias Harris, Boban Marjanovic and Mike Scott from the Clippers in exchange for Landry Shamet, Wilson Chandler, Mike Muscala, and a pair of future draft picks.
But that doesn't mean Elton Brand and Co. are done just yet. There's still a few hours left before the NBA Trade Deadline expires as the young Sixers GM looks to add some bench depth after upgrading his starting unit a day earlier. Also, there could be a former No. 1 overall pick on the move — Markelle Fultz.
On last night's ESPN deadline special, Adrian Wojnarowski and Zach Lowe discussed the possibility of the Sixers moving Fultz.
"Those guys aren't on the team if Markelle Fultz is a normal No. 1 overall pick," @ZachLowe_NBA says on his deadline special with @wojespn. Woj says they've talked to Atlanta, Orlando about him: "There's a real possibility he's played his last game with the Sixers."

And they don't seem to be alone in the belief that Fultz will be elsewhere by the end of the day.
Got a feeling Markelle Fultz will have a new home by the end of the day.
