More than two months later, the Wall Street Journal reports that the Snider estate has listed the late chairman's majestic Montecito, California estate for $52 million.
The Italian-style home, constructed around 2001, is a sight to behold. Situated on approximately 9.4 acres, the property contains eight bedrooms, a one-bedroom cabana, a two-bedroom guesthouse, a swimming pool, a tennis court, a pavilion with a wet bar, a home theater with seating for 20, and a rooftop viewing deck.
Snider purchased the property in 1994 and made several additions to its grounds in the ensuing years. He spent much of the 2015-2016 Flyers season in California as he and his family dealt with his illness.
In addition to his 50-year legacy as owner of the Flyers, Snider built Comcast Spectacor into one of the region's premier arena-management and entertainment companies. You can check out the full photo gallery, courtesy of Jim Bartsch, over at the Wall Street Journal.
