Portland sister trio Joseph serenaded Philly on Wednesday night with lush pop rock. Twins Meegan and Allison Closner and older sister Natalie combined with a three-man backing band to play favorites from their 2016 release “I’m Alone, No You’re Not.”

With the precision of master harmonizers, the Closners delivered rich vocals one song after another to an adoring World Café Live crowd. Super catchy “SOS (Overboard)” was eaten up to its candy core by everyone in attendance as were the rest of the audio confections they served up.

Knoxville’s William Wild opened with a strong set of folk rock. Fronted by Garrett Sale — and playing behind this year’s “Steady Now” — the four-piece rocked with alt-country and Americana hues filling in the folk pastorals.
