Gotta admit — EDM shows are not my thing, but I make an exception for Flume.
In support of his sophomore album, “Skin,” the 24-year old Aussie delivered an immersive, 90-minute set to the sold-out Electric Factory. He also made room for songs off his self-titled debut, including his hits with Disclosure and Lorde.
The stage resembled a spaceship, with glass cubes accompanied by lighting and visuals that beautifully synced to the music. I may not have sported my best crop top and glow stick armbands, but Flume’s impressive performance made me an EDM believer, at least for one night.
