Their masterful 2016 “Episodic” provided the fuel for a fiery rock set, led by the vocals and guitar of Rachel Browne. The alt-rock of last century is new again, bolstered by shoegaze, crunch and whispers exploding throughout. Field Mouse is a hometown treasure.
Headlining the night was Cymbals Eats Guitars. The New York rock outfit led by Joseph D’Agostino, was full of theatrical guitar slinging and punk flourishes. They took Philadelphia on a wild ride, with their new LP “Pretty Years” leading the charge.
