Villanova currently has four players plying their trade in the NBA, and they all are pumped that the Wildcats reached the Final Four.
The lone All Star of the bunch is Toronto Raptors point guard Kyle Lowry, and he had no time for questions after a 115-91 victory over the New Orleans Pelicans on Saturday. 'Nova and Daniel Ochefu were on TV, after all:
Oklahoma City guard Randy Foye was the best player on that unforgettable 2005-06 four guard team with Lowry, and he finds himself an interesting spot, smack dab in the middle of Sooners country. Foye and Lowry still work out at 'Nova in the offseason.
The Thunder will play in Houston next Sunday, so Foye will be in attendance. Here are his thoughts on BUDDY:
Foye’s teammate Dion Waiters, Philly native and Syracuse alum, will also be in Houston for the Final Four. Forget Oklahoma, he wants the old school Big East matchup in the national title game:
The Pelicans’ Dante Cunningham was the star of the last Final Four team, and he gave the team’s website an interview on what the last few days have been like for him.
Darrun Hilliard was on this team just last season, and he’s currently a rookie with the Detroit Pistons. Safe to say he was pretty excited, too:
