Gloucester Township Police are searching for a suspect wanted in connection with an armed robbery.
Police are seeking the public's help finding a suspect they say is wanted in an armed robbery in Gloucester Township.
The incident occurred at 4 a.m. Wednesday at the 7-Eleven store on Church Street in Blackwood. Police say a thin black male, approximately 20 years old, entered the store and asked for cigarettes.
According to police, he can be seen on surveillance pulling a large knife from his left pocket and demanding money. As the suspect then attempts to exit the store, a long blue bag with a black carry strap falls from underneath his coat to the floor. The suspect retrieves the bag and flees the area.
The suspect was wearing a plaid "Jeff Cap," a long black coat with an exposed zipper, dark pants, black and white sneakers and a blue latex glove on his right hand.
