Actor and comedian Kevin Hart officially began shooting his movie "Untouchable" in Philadelphia this week, and it looks like he's loving working in his hometown.
After shooting takes in Center City, Hart reminisced a bit and posted a photo to his Instagram on Friday from the front steps of his first apartment in the city.
"So many memories .... I stopped by my 1st apartment in north philly," he wrote on the social media account. "I was 18yrs old & I wanted to be on my own. I was hype as hell when me & my roommate found this spot. Major shoutout & thank you to our landlords who were cool as hell for understanding our bull---t reasons for not having the rent on time sometimes lmao!!!! #PhillyForLife #GodIsGood"
Hart grew up in the City of Brotherly Love and attended George Washington High School in the Northeast. He later studied at the Community College of Philadelphia and Temple University.
Both Hart and Untouchable co-star Bryan Cranston were in Center City on Monday filming parts of the movie, a comedy/drama about the relationship between a paraplegic from a well-to-do family and an unemployed man who has been hired to help him.
While here, Hart also performed a surprise stand-up set at Warmdaddy's in South Philadelphia.
A spokesperson for the Greater Philadelphia Film Office on Friday said no further shoots had been scheduled in Philly for "Untouchable," which is a remake of the 2011 French film "The Intouchables."
