Every inch of Isaiah Zagar’s artistic wonderland, Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens, is filled with ceramic tiles, mirrors and found objects that come together to create a colorful and unusual mosaic mural. Those interested in Zagar’s work can take a self-guided tour of the South Street gardens.
Wednesday is often considered the best day of the week in the summer thanks to CCD Sips.
If you're tiring of hitting up the same Sips spot each week though (Becoming too much of a regular at Pagano's Market & Bar?), then on July 12 switch things up by spending happy hour at Philadelphia's Magic Gardens (PMG).
Admission to July's Garden Sips event is $12 for PMG members and $20 for non-members. Drinks are included in the ticket price.
There will be Barefoot Wine, Pabst Blue Ribbon beers and a specialty cocktail made with Original Bartender’s “I’m Coconuts Over You” Rum. Snacks will be available for purchase, with proceeds going toward Ready, Willing & Able to help further their mission of ending homelessness.
As for entertainment, attendees can make voodoo dolls while listening to vinyl tunes provided by BridgeSet Sound.
From the location to the arts & crafts choice, July's Garden Sips is anything but a typical happy hour.
