It's going to cost a buck more to sunbathe on the beach at two Jersey shore resort towns this summer.
According to The Press of Atlantic City, both Avalon and Stone Harbor will be bumping up the cost of its daily beach tags from $6 to $7 for the 2017 season. The price also increased by a dollar in 2015, according to the Press.
The decsion to up the price was reported made at a recent borough meeting, though it has not yet been reflected on the towns' respective websites.
A beach badge purchased for either Avalon or Stone Harbor, which are the same price, can be used to gain access to both beaches.
