Jaromir Jagr only played one season for the Flyers, but he made a good impression during his short stint in Philly. Now playing for the Florida Panthers at the ripe old age of 43, the fourth-highest point scorer in the history of the NHL is still playing due to his skill and insane work ethic.
The recent Jagr news actually comes from off the ice. According to Czech tabloid Blesk, an 18-year-old model took the selfie shown below of herself and Jagr sleeping in the same bed. Somebody reportedly got their hands on the picture and threated to send it to the media unless Jagr forked over 50,000 crowns (or roughly $2,000 U.S.).

The problem? Jaromir Jagr doesn’t care enough to get blackmailed. Via Puck Daddy:
So the photo was shopped to the media, and on Sept. 17 Nova.cz published the altered photo that the blackmailer had been using as “proof” that they had the image, presumably the one presented to Jagr.
Alas, there was one catch for this criminal mastermind: Jagr. Doesn’t Care. He literally told the blackmailer to do whatever he wanted with the photo. And so it hit the Czech media, and it was published in several European publications, and Jagr just keeps on Jagr'ing.
Whether this is actually true or not is up for debate. But when the legend becomes fact, print the legend.
