Philadelphia Eagles starting quarterback Jalen Hurts will practice on Wednesday for the first time since suffering a concussion against the Washington Commanders on December 22.
"He'll be out there today," Nick Sirianni told reporters, though he would not say if Hurts would have any restrictions during practice. "We'll get you the injury report after practice," he said.
Hurts missed the Eagles' last two game against the Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants, both of which were Eagles victories. The sooner Hurts can get back out on the field playing, the better (duh).
"This is why you practice," Sirianni said of any worries that Hurts could be rusty following his layoff. "We feel like we practice at a very high intensity level, and this is why you go out there and do those things."
In addition to his concussion, Hurts also has an injured finger on his left (non-throwing) hand.
"He's continuing to get better," a terse Sirianni said of the finger injury.
The Eagles will practice at Lincoln Financial Field on Wednesday, in pads.
