Di Bruno Bros. has caught truffle mania. From Dec. 6 through Dec. 11, all locations will be celebrating the mushroom. There will be in-store demonstrations, tasting sessions, cooking classes and a BYOB truffle brunch.
The pop-up brunch event will take place on Dec. 10-11 at the Rittenhouse Di Bruno Bros. upstairs café.
Here's what's on the menu:
• Truffle butter biscuits with duck bacon, fried egg, brie and house-made cabernet jam
• French omelet with Moliterno al Tartufo cheese
• Grilled flatbread with fresh mozzarella, arugula, speck, egg and shaved truffle
• Poppyseed waffles with ricotta, truffle honey and citrus zest
Plus, there will be truffle, salt-rimmed glasses to use at a full bloody mary station. Attendees just need to bring their own booze to complete the brunch drink.
No tickets are necessary to attend the truffle brunch, just show up ready to indulge.

Don't see why there's so much fuss over a fungus? Truffles are rare, especially the white ones. They are seen as a luxury addition to any dish, since each year there are fewer of them -- and of lesser quality.
The white ones are only available a couple of months of the year, almost exclusively from one part of Italy, where they must be foraged for by special pigs.
This season, Philadelphians have a chance to take home a huge Alba white Italian truffle, thanks to Di Bruno Bros. Just enter your name and email address here for a chance to win.
