The southbound lanes of I-95 were temporarily closed Friday morning due to a crash.
The incident, which involved at least three cars, occurred in the southbound lanes near Cottman Avenue, NBC10 reports.
At least one vehicle was overturned in the crash.
Injuries were reported. CBSPhilly reports that five people were taken to local hospitals in stable condition.
The lanes have since reopened, according to CBSPhilly, but traffic remained jammed in the area.
Drivers were encouraged to seek alternate routes.
