Commuters traveling on Interstate 76 in Philly ran into closures and delays Saturday morning due to a multi-vehicle crash that injured three people, police say.

According to the Philadelphia Office of Emergency Management, an accident around 3:17 a.m. Saturday between University Avenue and South Street, leading to the closure of all I-76 westbound lanes in that stretch. Traffic resumed before 11:30 a.m.
NBC10 reported that three vehicles were involved in the crash. A grey SUV and a U-Haul truck stopped in the right lane, with the SUV occupants getting out to speak to the U-Haul driver after a minor crash. During the discussion, a dump truck on the right lane struck the U-Haul vehicle, police say.
The three occupants of the SUV who were standing outside were hit by the U-Haul truck, according to authorities. All three were taken to the hospital and two were listed in critical condition. Police arrived at the scene to find all three vehicles/
Pennsylvania State Police did not immediately respond to a request for information regarding all individuals involved in the crash and their statuses.
