Interstate 676 will be shut down overnight in both directions this week.
The highway will be closed from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. between the Interstate 76 and Broad Street interchanges Monday through Thursday, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced.

Road crews will install steel beams that will hold the Benjamin Franklin Parkway/20th Street bridge over the highway.
The work is part of the four-year, $64.8 million project that started in April 2015 to replace seven structurally deficient bridges between 18th and 22nd Streets. The project is slated to be completed in Fall 2019.
PennDOT has provided a list of detours on its website.
The work is weather dependent.
