Barn fire on the 6500 block of Sawmill Road in Bucks County.
An overnight barn fire in Bucks County left two horses and several chickens dead early Monday morning, Solebury Township police said.
The fire broke out on the 6500 block of Sawmill Road in New Hope around 3:45 a.m., NBC10 reports.
Point Pleasant Fire Company, Midway Fire Company and Central Bucks EMS responded to the blaze. The barn structure was fully engulfed in flames.
Attempts to rescue the animals trapped inside were unsuccessful.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
