The holiday season is now officially here, which means it's time to start checking things off your holiday to-do list.
This weekend, there are special shopping events in Philly and the suburbs, where local artisans and small businesses will sell unique goods.
Find gifts for family, friends and loved ones – and have fun while shopping for them.

Greensgrow Holiday Bazaar
This holiday season, support local artists and one of Philly’s first urban farms. Greensgrow Farms is hosting an outdoor holiday market on Saturday, Dec. 2 and Sunday, Dec. 3.There will be fine art, jewelry, ceramics, wood works, accessories, bath/body goods, plants and more. Each day will feature a different lineup.
Can't make the dates? The holiday market will return Saturday, Dec. 16 and Sunday, Dec. 17.

King of Prussia Winterfest
King of Prussia's Town Center will host a special event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 2.
Sample food from the area’s newest restaurants, while shopping at the center's stores – or before shopping at King of Prussia Mall.
A few of the participating restaurants include b.good Philly, Choolaah Indian BBQ, District Taco, Duck Donuts, Fogo de Chão, Founding Farmers, MidiCi The Neapolitan Pizza Company, Paladar, Davio's and Naf Naf Grill.
There will also be local school choir performances, ice sculptures, winter-themed activities, cookie decorating and a hot chocolate station. Santa will be visiting at 12:30 p.m.
All attendees are encouraged to bring a winter coat to donate to Cradles to Crayons at the event.

Gifted: A Handmade Holiday Market
This new event, hosted by Clover Market and The Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts (PAFA) in Center City, will feature high-quality handmade goods from 75 artisans.
On Saturday, Dec. 2 there will be a ticketed preview party from 5-8 p.m. Ticketholders will receive exclusive early shopping access and can enjoy Champagne, specialty drinks, light bites and live music. Tickets are $25 for non-members and $15 for PAFA members.
On Sunday, Dec. 3 the holiday market will be open to the public from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event is free but a $5 donation to PAFA is suggested.
The market will be held indoors on both dates, in the second floor gallery spaces at PAFA.

Cricket Cringle
Cricket Cringle in Ardmore will feature more than 40 merchants, food trucks and vendors. The market will be open 5-9 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 1, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 2.
Get there early. The first 500 attendees will receive reusable commemorative shopping totes.
Cricket Cringle will also include live music and arts & crafts for kids.

11th Annual Northern Liberties Holiday Shopping Spree
At this event, the more you shop, the more you save.
Customers receive 10 percent off their purchase at the first store they buy from and receive their spree card with a sticker. Then, they receive 15 percent off at the second store they make a purchase at and another sticker. At the third store they buy from customers will receive 20 percent off their purchase and a sticker.
When you get three stickers on your spree card, you get 25 percent off thereafter.

The German open air market is back at LOVE Park this holiday season. Find unique toys, jewelry, pottery, fashion, art, handmade items, decorations and ornaments, among other goods.
Saturday, Dec. 2 and Sunday, Dec. 3, Christmas Village will celebrate it's 10 year anniversary with a party. There will be birthday cake and photo-ops with the market's new reindeer mascot.
Daily market hours are Fridays through Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sundays through Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Historic Holiday Nights
Boutiques and shops in Old City offer sales and discounts from 5-8 p.m. on Thursdays through Dec. 28. Charlie's Jeans, Momo's Tree House, Never Too Spoiled, Smak Parlour and more neighborhood spots are participating.
Restaurants in Old City are also joining in with extended happy hour deals deals for hungry shoppers.
