If you're ready to begin your holiday shopping, look no further than two upcoming opportunities to find unique gifts for everyone on your list. Both the Philadelphia Museum of Art Contemporary Craft Show and the Main Line Art Center's Handcrafted Holiday Pop-up open Thursday, Nov. 12
The Handcrafted Holiday Pop-up hosts everything from handmade books and children's toys to photography prints and textiles, all made by local vendors, through Sunday, Nov. 22. This year, more than half of the vendors are new to the Main Line's pop-up, too. You'll see handmade books from Beth Gotfried, jewelry from As the Crow Flies, bath supplies from Muddy Creek Soap Company and more. Plus, Saturday, Nov. 14 Dia Dorme Gourmet Cupcakes and PB&Jams food trucks will be on hand for hungry shoppers.
From Nov. 12 to Sunday, Nov. 15 the PMA Contemporary Craft Show will take over the Pennsylvania Convention Center for two days of show-stopping high-end crafts. More than 195 artists will be displaying their wares from all over the United States, working in metals, fiber, mixed media, ceramics, wood and more. The goods may be a bit more pricey than your usual craft fair, but they're the cream of the crop when it comes to the artisan market.
