The Owls kept rolling on a rainy Friday night in North Carolina, improving to 4-0 on the season.
According to OwlSports.com, Temple thumped the Charlotte 49ers 37-3 on the back of running back Jahad Thomas, who ran for 109 yards and two touchdowns, and another stellar defensive performance.

Quarterback P.J. Walker also threw for two scores to wideout Robbie Anderson, with the final touchdown pass coming after a 74-yard interception return by defensive back Nate L. Smith, an Archbishop Wood alumni.

The question now is whether Temple will be able to crack the AP's Top 25 Poll. They received 17 votes in last week's poll but still sit behind a number of undefeated teams that play in more prestigious conferences.
Next up, the Owls will face 1-2 Tulane at Lincoln Financial Field for the school's homecoming game on Saturday, Oct. 10.
