The Federal Bureau of Investigation would like to know if you’ve seen Shawn Fredrick Weatherhead lately.
For people reading this locally, the answer is probably no. After all, the 45-year-old former tattoo artist was born in the great state of Nevada and apparently splits time between there and Eugene, Oregon.
But the man with seven aliases – Shawn Frederick Aubuchon, Shawn Fredrick Aubuchon, Shawn Auhuchon, Shawn Weatherhead, Shawn F. Weatherhead, Shawn Frederic Weatherhead, and Shawn Frederick Weatherhead – is not to be approached, what with his penchant for carrying a switchblade.
The feds would like to catch up with Weatherhead because he allegedly makes regular threats against law enforcement entities. As in, he’s allegedly contacted the FBI’s Public Access Line – known affectionately as PAL – some 750 times since December 2015 to do so. Furthermore:
On at least three occasions, between April 1 and April 2, 2017, Weatherhead allegedly threatened to kill people during his calls. On April 24, 2017, a federal arrest warrant was issued in the United States District Court, District of Oregon, Eugene, Oregon, after Weatherhead was charged with interstate communication of a threat to injure a person of another.
Not good.
In any event, I’m sharing this information not to delve into the nature of his calls, but to highlight some prominent ink that sets him apart from your average Most Wanted subject.
Look back at that picture. Examine his ink. Focus on the neck. Yes, that tattoo reads, “DORK.”
If you’ve seen DORK out and about, the FBI asks you to contact their local office or the nearest American Embassy or Consulate.
